Jill Hirschman is a Primetime Emmy-nominated producer with experience spanning reality TV, documentary, lifestyle, as well as news. Her list of network credits include CBS News, NBC News, WGN, HGTV, BRAVO, Animal Planet, Investigative Discovery, and History Channel.
Jill began her career in news in Georgia. She launched several newscasts from the ground up and quickly moved her way up to supervising producer at CBS in Chicago. After several years in news, Jill made a jump into lifestyle programming when she started producing the HGTV hit series, “Design on a Dime”. When Bravo’s “Top Chef” came calling, Jill answered and became the Chicago producer for the 4th season of the reality competition series and was nominated for a Primetime Emmy. In 2007, Jill returned to her love of hard-hitting news specials and began producing documentaries. She produced several series for History Channel, Animal Planet, Investigative Discovery and TVOne. In addition to her work in documentaries, Jill has been a freelance producer for NBC’s Today Show and CBS’ The Early Show. Jill worked as an independent business development consultant for several production companies and individual producers before joining Towers in 2012 as Director of Development.
