Since joining Towers Productions in 2004, Rob Smart has written and produced shows for MSNBC, The History Channel, National Geographic, and The Weather Channel.
Previously, Rob was immersed in the world of advertising at Ogilvy & Mather, Chicago. He also tested his mettle as a Stage Manager at The Jerry Springer Show. This would eventually prepare him for his most recent stint as Show Runner for Discovery Channel’s prison-reality series Behind Bars.
A pop-culture junkie, Rob is currently working with The A.V. Club to bring their successful book, Inventory, to the screen.
