Teaser (16min version)

Brothers in Arms: Company F is a ten-part series taking viewers beyond the faceless statistics of the American Civil War, following in the footsteps of Company F of the First Minnesota Regiment, one of the most courageous and historically significant units of the Union Army.

Evan Kurowski is our series host. He mounts his Harley and embarks on a fascinating quest to the notorious battlefields where the men of Company F battled so that others might live free. The epic struggle endured by these heroic men is brought to life in vivid detail, utilizing cutting-edge visual technology and high-speed/super slow motion camera techniques to render a never-before-seen perspective on the most devastating war ever waged on American soil.

The men of Company F were warriors and patriots, a band of unlikely volunteers who were classmates at college, but would go on to forge unbreakable bonds in the fiery crucible of combat. They fought shoulder to shoulder at every great battle of the Eastern Theater, from the blood-drenched fields of Antietam to the smoke-wreathed ridges of Gettysburg. They defied the odds and withstood the furious onslaughts of their fiercest enemies, turning the tide of war against the Confederacy.

The men of Company F drew strength from one another to survive the transformation from mild-mannered students to hardened soldiers. Forever changed by the horrors of combat, they would come to epitomize the warrior virtues of valor, honor, and sacrifice. They left Minnesota as boys. They didn’t quite come back as men, but what they saw, no grown man should ever see. They were soldiers who transcended statistics, and for the first time, their incredible story will be told.

Part handbook, part philosophy, The Art of War—the ancient text written by the great military philosopher Sun Tzu—holds the keys to victory in war and life.

Now the Art of War’s tactics and strategies are revealed in graphic detail to help solve a military mystery. Were the outcomes of America’s greatest battles foretold some 2,000 years ago? Did the Art of War prophesize the Nazis ultaimte doom? Predict how the north would win the Civil War? And why America would be defeated in Vietnam?

History’s Art of War is at two-hour special that takes David Padrusch’s signature graphic novel look to unprecedented levels. Never before has ancient China, the Normandy Invasion, the Tet Offensive, and Pickett’s Charge been brought to life like this.

Understand the Art of War’s lessons, and you will prevail. Ignore them and you fight in darkness.

They are some of the most ferocious warriors of the ancient world.

Taken from their families at age seven, stripped of their individual identity, and often beaten within an inch of their life, they are brutally trained to become efficient killing machines. They are the Spartans… and they make their eternal mark in the epic Battle of Thermopylae.

Here, 300 of these ruthless soldiers defended Greece against the largest fighting force ever assembled… the war machine of the mighty Persian Empire. While many know this battle as one of the most famous last stands in history, few know the impact it had on the world. For if it had not been for the Battle of Thermopylae, western civilization—and democracy—would have been snuffed out in its infancy.

The History Channel traces the steps that led to the historic clash, and the extraordinary tactics that became legendary in LAST STAND OF THE 300.

Journey to 10,000 BC is a two-hour special exploring the fantastic changes taking place on earth.

As glaciers from the last major ice age recede, many scientists believe humans begin inhabiting North America. Mega fauna like mammoths, dire wolves and sabertoothed cats have roamed for hundreds of thousands of years. Within a century however, great climate changes will swing the world back into a mini-Ice Age and every living creature in North America will be put to the test. Some will endure, while others will be driven to extinction.

Prehistoric North America comes to life one bone and artifact at a time as a forensic investigation uncovers clues into what it takes to survive the massive changes of 10,000 BC. Some of the nation’s foremost scientists venture to a mammoth site in Washington State and to Paleo-Indian archaeological sites in Colorado, Maryland and South Carolina to uncover fossilized bones, prehistoric homes, and mankind’s first known weapons.

As the mighty glaciers rise and fall and many of the largest animals of the time slip into oblivion, a new theory of what caused the massive changes on Earth around 10,000 BC will emerge… an extra terrestrial impact.

(VIDEO COMING SOON)

In 1865, the American Civil War rages as brothers butcher brothers. But soon, Robert E. Lee surrenders at Apomattox. History knows this moment as the end of the war between the North and the South. But is it?

During a period known as “Reconstruction,” a time many consider to be one of the darkest in American History, America is supposed to be reuniting, healing its wounds, and moving past civil discord. But in the post-Civil War South, one can see snapshots of a larger, more menacing picture… a picture shadowed by murder, terrorism, and chaos as “free” black men and women remain enslaved by a South that does not completely surrender.

Aftershock is a two-hour, high-definition History Channel special focusing on the dark years following the Civil War. While many have learned of the horrors of America’s most destructive war, too few know of the devastation of its aftermath. The truth about this era is about to become shockingly clear.
